The Museum of Prints and Drawings of the National Museums in Berlin is showing masterpieces of international 'art on paper'. From Sandro Botticelli, Albrecht Dürer, Rembrandt, Adolph Menzel and Vincent van Gogh, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner and Pablo Picasso to Andy Warhol and Gerhard Richter.

It shows works from over 1,000 years of art, culture and media history, from the Middle Ages to the present. The collection comprises approximately 550,000 graphic works of art and 110,000 drawings, watercolours, pastels and oil sketches.
