In the ensemble Limewood ("lime wood") singers of the Berlin State Opera Chorus have come together under the direction of conductor and pianist Ursula Stigloher. They perform music for women's voices a cappella or accompanied by a few instruments. The focus is on works by female composers of the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries, as well as vocal literature from the classical, romantic and modern periods.
