Kodaline is currently one of the most successful acts from the Emerald Isle. That's because of this free mix of songs that appeals equally to radio listeners and indie fans, friends of stadium anthems and aficionados of polished studio productions. The Irish combine great pop moments with classic rock and alternative excursions. It's held together by singer Garrigan's high and flexible voice. He can give the band's lilting ballads just the melt they need to rock out the next moment in the next song.

Their last album, "One Day At a Time," was a huge success in 2020. 300 million streams and 150 million YouTube views and the positive Kriitken of the critics:inside were clear. During the production Kodaline could concentrate on their roots again. Singer and keyboardist Steve Garrigan, guitarist Mark Prendergast, bassist Jason Boland and drummer Vinny May worked alone in their small recording studio in Dublin, with Boland organizing the production. This gave it a very unique touch, from the opener "Wherever You Are" to the very stripped back version of the Undertones hit "Teenage Kicks" at the end.

The "Our Roots Run Deep" tour is going to be very special, as the quartet shared, "We're so excited to finally get back on the road. Musically, this tour will be something we've never done before. We've wanted to do this for a long time and are very proud of what's coming. We hope you enjoy the shows as much as we are looking forward to playing them."
