End of year concert
The band Harry's Freilach from Berlin plays upbeat klezmer music, a genre that has its origins in Eastern Judaism and is characterized by Eastern European and oriental harmonies and rhythms. The melodies are characterized by joy and dance-like liveliness, but can also be melancholic and dreamy, tragically expressive, solemn and sometimes wild and wild.
Since 1992, Harry's Freilach has performed in various formations, from duos to quartets. The repertoire includes traditional Freilachs, Horas, Nigunim and Hasidic dances as well as contemporary Klezmer-style compositions.
