While the mobility expert and bestselling author Katja Diehl focused on people and their individual needs when it comes to mobility in her first book "Autocorrection", she is now concerned with the hurdles of the transport transition on a social and systemic level. Why isn't anything happening? Why do people remain at a standstill even though the knowledge of future-oriented mobility is available to all?

Which adjusting screws are rusty – socially and politically? What role do industry and media play? What does science have to say and what legal obstacles need to be overcome? Katja Diehl speaks to numerous experts, but also to designers who are already driving the transformation forward. In this way, she shows how visions of mobility can become a lovable world.

Katja Diehl, born in 1973, is fully committed to the change in mobility. After 15 years in leading positions in the mobility and logistics industry, she is now changing the system with her expertise from outside. She hosts the podcast “SheDrivesMobility”. In Hamburg she founded the representation of womeninmobility and is involved in the federal board of the Verkehrsclub Deutschland e. v.

She has received numerous awards for her work, including being named one of the "100 Women of the Year" by "Focus" in 2020, and in 2019 she was included on the "25 LinkedIn TopVoices in Germany, Austria and Switzerland" list and is considered one of the »Remarkable Women in Transport«. Her book “Autocorrection” was on the Spiegel bestseller list for weeks, and she herself received numerous awards, including: the Readers' Prize of the German Business Book Prize 2022 and the German Mobility Prize in the People category.
