with Gabriele Streichhahn and Ute Falkenau at the piano
Erich Kästner, everyone knows him or has at least heard of him, perhaps knows a poem or one of his children's books. He hasn't written anything since 1974, and yet his texts are astonishingly relevant to contemporary thoughts.
Kästner almost seems timeless. And despite all the necessary seriousness, there is silliness, originality and originality. And something Berlinish.
