The music of jazz guitarist Ignacio Cacace is a mixture of modern jazz, pop and Argentine folklore. His compositions are characterized by a fresh and personal sound inspired by his experiences in different cities such as Buenos Aires, New York, Barcelona and Berlin.

Ignacio Cacace was born in Argentina in 1982. At the age of 4 he started playing drums encouraged by his grandfather, a tango singer from Buenos Aires. Being passionate about music he started playing the guitar and piano later on. Ignacio graduated in jazz guitar and composition at the Emu School of Music in Argentina.
His curiosity in life and music led him to NYC where he lived for 4 years, becoming part of the NYC musical scene and studying with renowned musicians such as Michael Kanan, Aaron Goldberg, Mark Turner, Guillermo Klein, and Bill McHenry.
There he recorded his first album as a bandleader called New Concepts of Pop Music, receiving high praise from the international press and winning several prizes including the Best Newcomer award at Argentjazz.com, Argentina’s main jazz hub.
Nowadays Ignacio is introducing his new and second album titled Next to Normal, recorded in Barcelona in 2018.
After living for three years in Barcelona, Ignacio is currently based in Berlin and introducing with an outstanding band the new music that will be part of his third album as a bandleader.
