An exclusive theater experience: two actors, an original text and a stage! Once upon a time - Grimm's Fairy Tales in the Glass Palace.
The specially designed format, which presents two half-hour fairy tales per performance, underlines the close connection between the unique charm of these stories, their special comedy and the gripping, scary atmosphere with the deep-rooted fears and hopes of everyone.
In no time, the stage is transformed into a festively set table with something for everyone: highly entertaining enjoyment.
Hinz and Kunz
Fairytale heroes make dreams come true and become immortal in them. But does anyone remember the second man on the moon? We know: The firstborn inherited the mill, the second the donkey, but the third got the tomcat... and in the end the entire kingdom. But what happened to the guy with the donkey? What happened to the many runners-up in all the fairy tales? Exactly: they were simply forgotten! They are the icing on the cake. The stirrup holders for the later heroes. Because it is precisely they, the eternal runners-up, who brought the famous third parties, the soldiers of fortune, the Sunday children and winners of history to their starting place!
Enough! This is no longer acceptable! In the rediscovered fairy tale, author and director Jan Zimmermann opens up a big stage for the forgotten seconds and asks the audience: Aren't we all a little bit second? Where is our happy ending then?! A fairy tale for all of us who didn't become famous, millionaires or both.
The devil with three golden hairs
For the child of heaven, born in a skin of happiness, everything turns out well: what divine prophecy! But no calculation ever works without the devil. Heaven and hell fight wildly over the fate of the lucky child: like Moses, he is exposed to wild floods, like Hamlet, he becomes the messenger of his own death sentence and goes with Charon across the river of hell. It converts merciless robbers to compassion, solves the world's riddles of the Sphinx and even survives the hell deep in the folds of the old Ellermutter... A pure mystery spectacle, the ultimate Faust - as a battle between God and the devil flares up in a baroque, chaotic world fairy tale Showdown in Hell!
