Popular sounds and rhythms from three centuries - three classical guitar ensembles create a varied and entertaining concert evening.
Ensembles Cantabile (Bruchsal), Concertino and Guitarissimo (Spandau Music School)
The Ensemble Cantabile is a guest from Bruchsal-Heidelsheim. Originally founded in 1990 as a plucking ensemble with, among other things, mandolins and mandolins, it transformed itself into a pure guitar ensemble at the end of the 90s, which is characterized by a wide musical and stylistic range.
The guitar ensembles Concertino and Guitarissimo from the Spandau Music School also have a diverse stylistic range, so that the audience can look forward to a colorful and entertaining program mix. Irish sounds alternate with crossover, early baroque dances with Spanish and Latin American-inspired pop. As a special item on the program, the approximately 30 musicians will perform two pieces by the Dutch composer Annette Kruisbrink together.
An event by the Spandau Music School in cooperation with the Evangelischer Johannesstift, the Friends of the Spandau Music School e.V. and the Ensemble Cantabile e.V.
Admission is free, donations are requested.
