guided tour for blind and visually impaired visitors+++
The parterre stretches from the palace to the carp pond and is the heart of the palace garden in Charlottenburg. The area, artistically designed with lawns, hedges, gravel, flower beds and other elements, attracts many guests every year. During the tour, garden district manager Gerhard Klein talks about the history and care of this garden area.
With the help of a tactile garden plan, the participants get an overview of the location of the ground floor and the adjacent areas. Plants and materials are presented, which can also be picked up and felt.
