The glamorous GAZİNO NIGHTs by and with Aziza A. and Turgay Ayaydınlı are entering the next round, more precisely, into the 90s. That was the heyday of Turkish pop. And in Berlin the first Turkish clubs and bars are opening. The music knows no borders: elements of hip hop, RnB, jazz and house are taken up and fantastic fusions are created. The two hosts of the evening, Aziza A. and Turgay Ayaydınlı, also conquered the charts with their songs.

GAZİNO NIGHT 90’S
You can expect Turkish, English and German pop hits from the 90s, oriental hip hop and funk and of course again in grand wardrobe!
Gazinos were legendary nights with lots of live music, dancing and rakı. And even more: It was an attitude to life that brought people together in Berlin in the 1980s and 1990s from an Istanbul on the move. In the GAZİNO NIGHT series, the spirit of the Gazinos is brought to life in the hall of the Heimathafen Neukölln. This is where friends, families and people sitting next to you sing and dance to Turkish, English and German hits - and that infects everyone!
The hosts of the evenings are the two greats of the Berlin music scene, Aziza A. and Turgay Ayaydınlı. With GAZİNO NIGHT they translate the spirit of a traditional gazino into a contemporary form. They draw a line from the glamorous times of Istanbul to the new beginnings in Berlin of the so-called guest worker generation to today's polyphonic music scene of musicians with Turkish roots living in Berlin. Of course, guest appearances by always new great soloists and hip dancers should not be missing from a GAZİNO evening, just like rakı, wine and culinary delicacies.
