expert tour with Curator for Garden Monument Preservation Gerd Schurig, SPSG

During the long history of the New Palace, the surrounding gardens have undergone many changes. They were adapted to the taste of the time or the practical wishes of the residents. In addition to busy usage phases, there were also times of slumber. Particularly active, influential protagonists were, for example, the ambitious Crown Princess Victoria of Prussia and her long-time court gardener Emil Sello.

The changes that took place in detail, how the associated garden center developed and what you can still see today will be explained during the tour of the former private gardens.
