According to Berlin city magazine TIP, FUCKING SCHROEDER is the Neukölln answer to Mick Jagger. Either way, the entertainer, singer, guitarist, composer and last but not least humourist born in 1964 in Neukölln/Berlin is on a mission for rock'n'roll and embodies/lives the basic elements of rebellion, energy, failure, resurrection & lots of trivial sex, his drive is to save German rock music!
The amateur systhemist describes his music as animalistic Neukölln pop/rock, inspired by his father, whose dreams he lived out; Dr. FUCKING's heroes are Inspector Clouseau, Randle Patrick McMurphy, Frank Drebbin , Angus Young & Mick Jagger.
In his texts he deals with his childhood and youth in Gropiusstadt as well as his time as an animal keeper in the monkey enclosure of the Berlin Zoo. Since 1994, he has released 12 records and videos with the Zoologen and has given various live concerts on tours throughout Germany, especially in Berlin (SO36, Astra, C-Club). Most attention was paid to the party smash hit Im Puff bei Molly Luft recorded in 1999, which was played by over 100 radio stations and resulted in several TV appearances on SAT 1/RTL 2.
After his time in the Neukölln psychiatric ward due to depression, FUCKING SCHROEDER is back and has recorded his first solo album (Berliner Schmutz" with the Ingle single "Alien) at Studio 1058 with music producer Manne Pokrandt (productions for Axel Prahl, Mitch Ryder, Mikis Theodorakis, among others) and will present his new works at ArtStalker on 6 October 2023.
