This year, the Berlin State Sports Federation is hosting its main family sports festival—for the first time at the Sportforum Berlin grounds in Hohenschönhausen.

Familiensportfest im Olympiapark Berlin
On June 13 and 14, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Berlin sports associations and clubs will present their diverse offerings free of charge and invite families to try them out and join in.
The colorful program features hands-on activities and sports—ranging from badminton, gymnastics, and cheerleading to rowing, dancing, table tennis, and chess. Numerous music and dance performances on stage will keep the energy high.
Modelled after the “major” finals, around ten Berlin youth championships will be held simultaneously, including in beach volleyball, track and field, judo, and fencing. Additionally, music and dance performances on stage will keep spirits high.
The Family Sports Festival provides a colorful, athletic backdrop for the youth competitions and invites visitors to stop by and cheer on the exciting youth championships.
A weekend full of activity, excitement, and fun for the whole family.
