Head out to Tempelhofer Feld—come join us on the rope

Would you like to try tightrope walking and get familiar with the basics?

In this regular training session for beginners, you’ll learn the basics of tightrope walking and practice balancing at heights of up to 2 meters.

The sessions are open to everyone and ongoing—you can join any week and participate as often as you’d like.

What to expect:

Here, you’ll learn in a small group of like-minded people at your own pace. Participants start with balance and walking exercises on the ground and learn how to properly maneuver the 6-meter-long balancing pole.

At your own pace, you’ll explore higher ropes. The instructors will guide you every step of the way as you take your first steps on the wire ropes and slacklines.

You’ll see that tightrope walking is surprisingly easy to learn with a little concentration and practice. If you can walk upright and hold the balancing pole, you’ve got the most important prerequisites covered.

Why try tightrope walking?

Balancing helps you manage your fears, test your limits, and build self-confidence. And above all: it makes you happy.

What You Should Know
