This piece deals with the break happening when your warm and tender inner animal looks in the mirror and recognizes its own tormentor: a dog sees a leash, a horse sees a whip, a bird sees black through an oil film, a teenager sees a future adult.
This piece consist of things that purr, play, bite, enjoy, cry from pain, wrestle, threaten, die from poison, are criminalized, are treated, are treated badly.
This piece resists to become human, whatever forms it takes.
The MA Choreography students develop their final projects during the last semester of their master’s program and present them to the public. The premiere is preceded by several months of research and rehearsals, during which they engage intensively with their individual questions and themes, refining their unique approach and artistic signature.
