Throughout the ages, there have been composers who have dared to do more musically than others. Often unrecognized, these pioneers usually only inspired those who came after them, but ultimately they stood at the beginning of new styles and entire epochs. Two recorder players, both of whom have been awarded the DMW Prize, dedicate their program to the phenomenon of musical turning points.
Works by John Baldwin, Wilhelm Friedemann Bach, Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, Luigi Nono and others.
