The Passion Cycle of the Cranach Workshop
Castle Area Manager Kathrin Külow will lead a tour of the Cranach exhibition on Easter Sunday and provide insights into the history of the origins of the Cathedral and Collegiate Church in Berlin and its furnishings.

For this church, Elector Joachim II commissioned Lukas Cranach and his workshop for, among other things, a series of Passion paintings for altars. Nine central panels of these have been preserved, which are on display in the Cranach exhibition in the Grunewald hunting lodge and will be the focus of this special Easter tour.
