short tours on UNESCO World Heritage Day with Palace Director Petra Reichelt, SPSG

Over 7,500 Dutch faience tiles adorn the walls of the hall that gives it its name, which was used as a summer dining room under Frederick William I.

In 15-minute short tours on the occasion of UNESCO World Heritage Day, palace director Petra Reichelt uses the Tile Hall to explain how much art, architecture and courtly culture in Brandenburg-Prussia was influenced by the Netherlands in the 17th century.

The tours tie in thematically with the "Holland in Potsdam" campaign, which the Museum Barberini is conducting in 2023 together with the state capital Potsdam, the SPSG and other cultural institutions in Potsdam.
