zur Sonderausstellung „Donatello. Erfinder der Renaissance“ (2.9.2022–8.1.2023)

Hardly any other person has influenced art in Florence as much as Donatello. On the threshold of the modern age, he moved between different materials of sculpture and developed new pictorial forms in exchange with the leading architects and painters of his time. He created works that were already admired in the Renaissance for their closeness to life. Discover the master in competition with the arts in an exhibition tour with curator Neville Rowley or research assistant Christine Seidel.
