The CLUB CULTURE DAY festival will take place from 3 to 12 October 2025 at various locations in Berlin. Over 50 event concepts from clubs, collectives and local organisers will ensure a multifaceted festival week, which the Berlin Club Commission will bundle into a programme around CLUB CULTURE DAY.

TAG DER CLUBKULTUR 2025 stands for networking and cooperation, even in challenging times.

The exciting thing is that, in addition to established clubs and influential players in club culture, the diverse communities that play a key role in shaping Berlin's club scene will also be visible.
The festival week aims to break down barriers and highlight the importance of club culture as a cultural asset in Berlin and beyond. It is also an invitation to the entire urban community to celebrate or rediscover club culture.

Clubs such as KitKat, OXI, Beate Uwe Club, cassiopeia Club, LARK, Ohm and collectives such as THE BLACK SEX WORKER COLLECTIVE, NOFUTUREBERLIN, ADIRA and Iç Içe will be participating.

Why on 3 October?

3 October 2025 marks the 35th anniversary of German reunification, a historic moment that not only shifted political boundaries but also opened up cultural spaces. Today's Berlin club culture emerged from this moment of change: in improvised clubs, squatted houses and temporary free spaces, new forms of coexistence, expression and community arose. Dance floors became places of encounter where differences were embraced, walls were overcome and bridges between realities were built.

With this year's festival theme, ‘Bridging Realities – 35 Years of Movement’, the Berlin Club Commission asks with its festival programme: How does this spirit continue to have an impact today? How does club culture remain a place of exchange, resistance and collective imagination even in times of crisis, division and gentrification? What spaces are opening up today for collective action, including international and migrant perspectives, for collective memory and rethinking?

This year's festival programme presents formats that connect the past, present and future.
