Before Daniil Trifoniov discovered "his" instrument for himself at the age of five and a half, he was already musically active: "I first came to the piano through composing!" Again and again he tried "different things on the midi keyboard." "I loved the synthesizer and the knobs and the sounds. [...]. When we moved to Moscow, I didn't have time to compose for several years. Later I started again." Trifonov, who studied composition in addition to his pianist training, continues to write his own works for piano, chamber ensemble and orchestra.
