The Christopher Street Day on the Spree is a unique Berlin sympathy rally in this form: sightseeing tour and demonstration on the water combine with fun culture and make a contribution to the rich spectrum of gay and lesbian club and city life during the CSD week.

On the occasion of the CSD week, Berlin shows once again how cosmopolitan, hospitable and tolerant it is: the CSD ON THE SPREE sends a clear message against discrimination and xenophobia!

The whole world comes together for the Spree sightseeing tour. Stars of the Berlin queer scene provide entertainment on the boats and party music from the city's top DJs can be heard on the decks.

The choreography on the boats promotes interaction between the boats and their passengers. A special highlight is the so-called “Pompom Alarm”, when thousands of cheerleader pompoms fly rhythmically into the air to the sounds of CSD AUF DER SPREE.

The trip ends with the big harbor festival with outdoor activities and a beach party.


‘To the puschel, get set’, that's how we set sail on the Spree with the crème de la crème of Berlin artists and DJs and welcome all guests and partner organisations who stand united for respect, tolerance and diversity.

New on board is the association Fußball und Begegnung e.V., which aims to be a safe harbour for all FLINTAs. visitBerlin is also back at the start and is offering attractive hotel stays during the entire Berlin Pride Season with its ‘Pink Pillow’ offer.

Because CSD AUF DER SPREE remains a fun event with aspirations, the monthly news will feature guest contributions from ship sponsors. The range of topics covers a number of things that are currently of particular interest to us in the area of queer content.

Information:

• For the first time and new to the group, the crew of BERLINER STADTREINIGUNG (BSR) will be welcomed together with the girls and boys from LEBENSWELTEN E.V.
  
• Both will sponsor ship no. 3 on the MS Wappen von Spandau. On board will be scene stars Miss Ivanka T. and Paul Paillette.
  
• The famous steamboat from Potsdam, which sailed from the Havel to the Spree last year, is once again firing up its engines: ‘Welcome aboard ship 19, the DS GUSTAV’.
  
• There is a day ticket via Potsdam with meals on board, or a city ticket from Hansabrücke Berlin. As always, there will be lively banter and the finest music on board, by and with Estelle van der Rhone!
