In the wonderful ambience of Berlin's Waldbühne, musical brilliance meets atmospheric open-air feeling. This time, the Berliner Philharmoniker end their season at the Waldbühne with the genre of romantic opera.

For the second time, Andris Nelsons leads the Berliner Philharmoniker through an unforgettable evening. Star tenor Klaus Florian Vogt sings at his side. This guest performance marks his debut with the Berliner Philharmoniker, including his signature role as Wagner's Lohengrin.

The ensemble will also perform pieces from Weber's Freischütz as well as Strauss' Till Eulenspiegel, selected orchestral songs and excerpts from the turbulent Rosenkavalier.

Due to the traditional picnic nature of the season-ending concert, bringing your own food and beverages is permitted to a certain extent. Please note the requirements for this in the admission regulations.

Next year, the concert will continue its long-standing tradition. In 2024, a big anniversary is coming up, looking back on four decades of open-air classical music in what is probably the most beautiful open-air arena.
