Concert at the end of the year

On December 31st, the concert to mark the end of the year will take place instead of the Sunday concert. The guests are the Schola Cantorum Weimar and the Chorakademie Erfurt, two youth choirs with around 60 young singers who are stopping off in Köpenick as part of a concert tour with seven performances in Berlin.

The program includes compositions from Renaissance to jazz, international traditional Christmas songs in classical and modern arrangements and spirituals. You will hear, among other things, a Ukrainian Kolyadka (Christmas song) and a jazz arrangement of “Carol of the bells”, which in turn goes back to the Ukrainian melody Shchedryk, as well as works by Ola Gjeilo and Jan Sandström.

The concert starts at 7 p.m. and is financed by your voluntary donation!
