The CHANCE Festival is coming to Berlin! This year, for the first time, the festival for pop culture, sustainability and diversity will not only take place in Düsseldorf but also in Berlin - on 1 September 2023 as an open-air event at the CFB in Wedding. Admission is free!
The festival starts at 4 pm with an inclusive children's and family festival in the Centre's gardens and in the Rote Beete community garden.
There will also be a hands-on circus and other workshops on the theme of sustainability. For example, you can make toys from recycled items or determine your virtual water consumption.
Initiatives from the neighbourhood will be presented that show how one can get involved locally.
Positive lab workshops will be offered in the Rote Beete community garden.

It is director Emmanuel Cappellin's intimate journey across the abyss of a world on the brink of climate-induced collapse. He obsessively confronts the question of how best to respond personally and collectively to the present and future catastrophes.
His journey into this uncharted territory is that of an entire generation turning to climate scientists, local democracy, grassroots initiatives and mass uprisings to courageously seek a way out.
Chance Festival is funded by the Franco-German Civic Fund and is part of the DRAUSSENSTADT initiative, supported by the Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion and the Foundation for Cultural Education and Cultural Consulting.
