Schlossgärtnerei and Gärtnerhof Charlottenburg open their doors
This weekend, everything revolves around greenery in the otherwise inaccessible Charlottenburg Palace Gardens. The garden experts will provide information about the Charlottenburg Palace Gardens. In addition, a variety of historical pelargonium species and many different summer flower cultures can be admired.
A selection of pelargoniums, orangery plants and the Mirabilis can be purchased for a donation. The gardeners will provide tips on growing and caring for plants and give a guided tour of the grounds of the castle nursery and the palm house with its orangery plants. They will also be happy to answer questions about the effects of climate change in the historic gardens.
A technical show illustrates which machines are used in the Charlottenburg Palace Gardens. Hearty snacks, coffee and cake will be available for refreshment in between.
