The Velvet Creepers
It is a unique show experience and a tribute to Berlin’s burlesque and cabaret history, featuring extraordinary performers. Their backgrounds, passion, and inspiration—shaped by Berlin’s dynamic performance community—offer fascinating stories.
THE VELVET CREEPERS are Berlin’s legendary queer cabaret—a cross-genre spectacle full of provocative extravagance that blends circus, singing, comedy, burlesque, drag, and
performance art. Founded in 2018, the ensemble blends vintage glamour with surreal aesthetics and advocates for body positivity, queer visibility, and radical self-empowerment.
Velvet Creepers bring together the talents of Fifi Fantôme and Dunja von K, along with a constellation of international artists. Their work is rooted in the spirit of Weimar cabaret and infused with the DNA of contemporary queer Berlin club culture. For seven years, The Velvet Creepers have regularly staged sold-out productions at Ballhaus Berlin—one of the city’s most historic venues—and have toured theaters and performance festivals throughout Europe. Each production brings together an extraordinary ensemble of international artists from the worlds of circus, burlesque, drag, performance art, and live music, creating shows of
breathtaking breadth, spectacle, and depth.
