Lina travels light. Because she has no intention of staying. What awaits her in her hometown weighs heavily. And she still doesn't know everything. But because the forest is buzzing and glowing and smelling, she doesn't give in, she keeps going.

Self-pity is foreign to Lina, because she has a great sense of humor. But where does all the anger that sometimes erupts from her come from? She seems completely beside herself, completely out of her mind. Because there's just too much going on. Not a small family drama, a big one. Her twin sister Luise disappeared without a trace. Years ago. That's why Lina hasn't lived in Wildhof for a long time. But now she has to return there to clean up, investigate, bury and finish.

Now well over thirty years old and recently orphaned, she is looking for a buyer for her parents' house and finds what seemed to have disappeared forever. Finally a clue. Because Luise has left her a signpost.

In a present in which she is held by the sunlit forest and old friendships, Lina uses both hands to scratch free the mossy past. And with it her own future.

A sensual book, full of feelings, smells and sounds, tense and exciting right to the end.
