in solidarity with the civilian population in the Middle East

A benefit concert is being held at the Heilig-Kreuz-Kirche to promote solidarity with the Palestinian and Israeli civilian population. The proceeds will go to three humanitarian and civil society projects in Israel and Palestine.


An evening of hope with artists from Israel and the Middle East, with works by:

  • BACH, BERIO, KODÁLY, BEETHOVEN, SCHUMANN, ZEIRA, RAVEL, ARGOV, WIESENBERG, STRAUSS, HOCHMAN.

The programme also includes art, poetry and theatre readings from Israel, Palestine, Lebanon and Iran.

The proceeds of the evening will go to grassroots organisations working for Jewish-Palestinian dialogue and peace in the region: the Palestinian-Israeli Parents Circle Families Forum of bereaved families, the grassroots movement Standing Together for Peace and Social Justice, and the Gaza aid of the International Rescue Committee.
