The “Choir of Voices” will create a varied evening of Christmas and non-Christmas with songs and texts. How did this unusual choir become involved? In April of this year, the pianist and singer Klaus Reithmeier gave a concert in this church for “Laib und Seele”.

One of the listeners was Susanna Bonasewicz, who founded the “Choir of Voices” in spring 2023. She was so inspired by the “Loaf and Soul” initiative and our church that she offered to give a concert with her choir for this good cause.
But who is the “choir of voices”? It consists of actresses and actors who work in studios as voice actors. Hardly anyone knows their faces, but their voices are familiar to a large audience. For example, many people know the voice of Bridget Jones in “Chocolate for Breakfast”, or the German voice of Cameron Diaz in “Crazy for Mary”, or that of Inspector Barnaby or Spongebob.
The 15 members of the choir gave their first concert on the occasion of the awarding of the German Synchronous Prize in July this year. All of them have first-class language and voice training, and many also have musical training.
You can look forward to an atmospheric and entertaining evening with a few surprises and then have a little chat with the interesting actors over snacks and wine.
