Experience Berlin with exciting perspectives on architecture and urban development. The walks are led by architects and shed light on the background of current construction projects and the social connections between buildings, history and the city. The walk is a cooperation with the Bauhaus-Archiv / Museum für Gestaltung and starts at the construction site of the currently closed building.

From the bauhaus view, they look over the construction site and onto the extension planned by Berlin architect Volker Staab, which will offer plenty of space for exhibition and educational work in the future. Along the Landwehr Canal with exciting buildings of the International Building Exhibition from the 1980s, the path leads to the Kulturforum, which has once again become an architectural highlight with the reopened New National Gallery and the much-discussed Museum of the 20th Century currently under construction. Building designs by two Bauhaus directors - Walter Gropius and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe - as well as the influences of modern Bauhaus ideas and the future of the Kulturforum will be examined more closely during the tour.
