Experience a musical meditation for organ and violin. The duo Jannis Roos (violin) and Carlo Maria Barile (organ) will be playing.
In this programme you can experience different dialogues: Violin and organ, two different sound worlds that become one sound in the concert hall through the performers.
In addition to duo pieces, solo pieces are also played, so that the special features of the instruments become clear.
Two personalities also become unique: Jannis Roos and Carlo Maria Barile develop their own musical ideas and can thus enter into a dialogue through different melodies, harmonies and musical forms, just as the Baroque and Romantic periods do through the development of their own forms of expression, such as the chiaroscuro that characterises the Baroque in both music and painting on the one hand and the complex harmonies of Reger's music on the other.
From Corelli to Rheinberger, from Italy to Germany, a variety of arcs and bridges are built that show, even in today's difficult times, how dialogue across history and countries can lead to unity and beauty.
