On Justice #2

The federal elections are just around the corner and with them the question of where society will develop from now on. While authoritarian temptations are growing, much of what was previously considered the consensus of a plural democracy is up for discussion: whether diverse and inclusive perspectives, civil and civil liberties rights, the voices of the migrant society or the "firewall" against the right.

With "On Justice", the HAU wants to address the law as a civil society instrument for progressive movements and struggles for justice.

The 2nd edition of the discourse series will discuss the following questions, among others: What happens to the rule of law when basic rights enshrined in the constitution are pushed aside? Is a ban on the AfD suitable for countering the shift to the right? And what does all this mean for those affected by right-wing violence and repression?
