The performance deals with the theme of resistance by weaving threads of collective memory (opposite: memory loss).
The history of the opposition group surrounding the “Environmental Library” in the 1980s has left its mark on the Zion Church. How can people today trace memories of the opposition back then? How can they pass on stories of resistance? A kind of personal library is shown.
With the help of music, storytelling and dance, we address resistance as a nexus of personal and collective negotiation processes.
