ORGANIC FIELDS
ORGANIC FIELDS, the third artspring light art festival, continues the second part of the two-part exhibition series. From 1 to 16 February, five artistic positions will be showing works in the Pavillon am Milchhof that interweave organic and artificial processes and explore the interplay of light, materiality and changeability. This creates fluid transitions between nature, technology and human perception.
Some works question the consumption and exploitation of natural resources or use recycled materials, while others explore the potential of light and material.
The pavilion's glass façades create a special spatial situation in which interior and exterior spaces overlap. Reflections and refractions create overlaps and promote interactions between the individual works.
In this way, positions arise that together form an organic field in which common notions of nature and artificiality are transcended and new contexts are opened up.
