Carolina Bianchi

In this lecture, theatre maker Carolina Bianchi gives insights into the research for her new trilogy “Cadela Força”, which is about stories of rape and femicide over the past few decades.

In parallel, she also looks at art history to connect layers of poetic violence with the brutality of reality. Thus, the artist contemplates the “endless hole that has been swallowing [women] for centuries”, uncovering narratives that have accumulated in repression and silence.
