concentus alius, Christiane Silber, singers from 14 Berlin choirs
In 1999 the Concentus Alius was founded as a gay chamber orchestra. The ensemble has now developed into a stately symphony orchestra with more than 70 members.
Nowadays it performs under the name “Homophilharmonic Orchestra Berlin” and primarily offers music fans from the lesbian, gay and queer community the opportunity to make music together. But all other musicians who are open to this idea and without prejudice are also welcome.
