Nowadays there are not only little rabbits in the classroom at the bunny school, but also a fox child. A fox – really? Bunny Girl Hoppich didn't expect that at all. It quickly becomes clear to her and her classmates: a fox cub who unwraps carrots as a snack is not a danger! It threatens from a completely different direction - and fox and hare can only overcome the difficult situation together.

First published in 1924, “The Bunny School” by Albert Sixtus and Fritz Koch-Gotha has become a classic. To mark the 100th anniversary, Anke Engelke has written a brand new picture book story that brings the bunny school into the 21st century with a lot of charm and humor. She talks about how exciting it can be to make new friends. Because working together not only makes you strong, but also smart!

The actress Anke Engelke was part of the “Wochenshow” ensemble, and her series “Ladykracher” is award-winning. She is the German voice of Pixar's Dory and Marge in "The Simpsons" and is part of the team of the children's television series "The Show with the Elephant". She was most recently seen in cinema and TV in “Mother”, “Included Society”, “Short Circuit” and “LOL – Last One Laughing”.

An event organized by Literatur LIVE in cooperation with the Thienemann publishing houses and the Thalia bookstore.
