zur Sonderausstellung „Gerhard Richter. 100 Werke für Berlin“ (bis 2026)
Gerhard Richter is one of the most important contemporary painters. Why are his works so much talked about and up to date? What artistic strategies does he pursue? What is hidden behind the layers of paint? In addition to the famous Birkenau cycle, almost 90 other works by the artist from several creative phases will be shown, which Richter has given to the National Gallery on long-term loan.
Discuss together.
