to the special exhibition “Gerhard Richter. 100 works for Berlin” (until 2026)
Gerhard Richter is one of the most important painters of today. Why are his works so widely discussed and current? What artistic strategies does he pursue? What is hidden behind the layers of color?
In addition to the famous Birkenau cycle, almost 90 other works by the artist from several creative phases will be shown, which Richter will leave on long-term loan to the Nationalgalerie. Discuss together.
