6LACK - 10 Years of 6LACK Tour

What 6LACK (pronounced “Black”) has achieved over the past ten years puts many artists in modern R&B and hip-hop to shame.

The now 33-year-old achieved his international breakthrough between 2016 and 2018, right at the start of his career.

With over 8 billion streams on digital streaming platforms, five GRAMMY nominations, and global hits like “PRBLMS,” “Pretty Little Fears” feat. J. Cole, “Ex Calling,” and collaborations like “OTW” (with Khalid and Ty Dolla $ign), “Only Want You” (with Rita Ora), and “Calling My Phone” (with Lil Tjay), 6LACK has become a voice for an entire generation with his unique sound.

This propelled him to the top of the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts with “Calling My Phone,” as well as into the Top 3 of the general Billboard Hot 100; it also earned him several platinum certifications and a spot on Jimmy Fallon’s *The Tonight Show*.

Building on the momentum of his latest album, “Love is the New Gangsta,” 6LACK will celebrate the 10th anniversary of his solo career in 2026. So he’s hitting the road on the 10 Years of 6LACK Tour to celebrate this milestone with his fans in style.

Ricardo Valdez Valentine (aka 6LACK) hails from Zone 6 in Atlanta, where he grew up starting at the age of five.

After gaining his first experience in the music industry and releasing DIY tracks on SoundCloud via Flo Rida’s label International Music Group / Strong Arm Records, 6LACK drew attention to his music online.

With his second album, “East Atlanta Love Letter,” and the double-platinum song “Pretty Little Fears” featuring J. Cole, 6LACK achieved his international breakthrough in 2018.

The album, which landed in the Top 3 of the Billboard 200, debuted at No. 44 on the German charts. On the Swiss Hitparade, “East Atlanta Love Letter” reached No. 19.

In addition to other singles and collaborations, he released the “6pc Hot EP” (2020) and the album “Since I Have a Lover” (2023). In 2026, 6LACK focused on his next album project.

After releasing several singles, his latest album, “Love is the New Gangsta,” was released on May 22.
