From May 5 to 10, 2026, the Berlin-Brandenburg Jewish Film Festival (JFBB) invites you to discover the diversity of Jewish perspectives in cinema.

With 60 films from 22 countries, international guests, and numerous discussions, the festival presents a multifaceted panorama of Jewish history and the present.

The focus is on the feature film and documentary competitions, each featuring ten productions. The films range across different tones and perspectives. They tell of personal experiences and political realities, of current and historical events and their aftermath—and in doing so, they repeatedly find quiet, surprising, and absurd moments of humor.

The JFBB takes place at the Berlin cinemas Filmkunst 66, Moviemento, Bundesplatz-Kino, and Kino Krokodil, as well as in Potsdam at the Thalia – Programmkino Babelsberg and the Filmmuseum Potsdam. The program is complemented by special events at venues including the Jewish Museum Berlin, the Felleshus – Community Center of the Nordic Embassies, the Jewish Community Center on Fasanenstraße, and the Documentation Center for Flight, Expulsion, and Reconciliation.
