As soon as you check in, a tree spreads out its arms and welcomes you. However, the MOA not only adorns itself with this beautiful symbol of sustainability, but also saves real trees. The hotel takes care of the neighbouring city trees when they suffer from drought and the falling water table. The MOA donates around 100 litres of water per tree to nourish the deep-lying roots.

Other measures for greater sustainability include the use of products made from recycled materials and recyclable products, the strengthening of local supply chains and the selection of sustainable and environmentally friendly products - both in the area of food as well as cleaning products, furniture and much more.

Ideally located on the Ringbahn, the Estrel is a perfect starting point for sightseeing. The hotel's own show programme and wellness area guarantee an unforgettable stay.

The goal of a&o HOSTELS is to be climate neutral by 2025. And in fact, many small measures already add up to a big whole. Hotels in the 15-minute city

The 15-minute city concept looks at tourism from a new perspective and strengthens the neighbourhoods around the respective hotel. The participating hotels actively encourage their guests to explore the immediate neighbourhood. The advantage is that local businesses benefit from more customers. In this way, tourism is better integrated into the lives of the local population, and retailers and restaurateurs are involved in the tourist activities. The hotels in the 15-minute city are spread all over Berlin and encourage people to leave the beaten track.
