Models, display panels, and texts convey the latest findings on the Sun, planets and minor planets, meteorites, and comets.
A notable feature is the telescope with which amateur astronomer Karl Ludwig Hencke discovered the minor planet "Astraea" in 1845.

The Museum of Astronomy is open during the Archenhold Observatory’s event hours.
During Berlin school breaks, additional opening hours apply: Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Friday from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.
