The striking zigzag building designed by New York architect Daniel Libeskind is one of Berlin’s most famous architectural landmarks. To mark its 25th anniversary, the Jewish Museum Berlin (JMB) is dedicating an exhibition to the building and the period in which it was created.

In his design *Between the Lines*, with which he won the competition for the JMB in 1989, Daniel Libeskind inscribed German-Jewish history with its numerous ruptures and the attempt at annihilation.

The guided tour explores the complex museum building within the context of its creation in Berlin during the years leading up to and following the fall of the Berlin Wall, bringing Libeskind’s ideas and thoughts to life in the spaces he created, such as the Garden of Exile, the “Holocaust Tower,” or the so-called Voids (empty spaces).
