Café Botanico

Harvest and enjoy

At the heart of this cosy farm-to-table restaurant in Neukölln is the permaculture garden, which covers around 1,000 square metres. The heirloom vegetables, fruit, wild herbs and edible flowers grown here make their way straight to the kitchen. In the evenings, the menu features sophisticated starters, pasta, risotto and desserts, always including vegetarian and vegan options. The menu is complemented by a selection of dishes featuring meat or fish. On particularly hot summer days, a streamlined midsummer menu featuring additional cold and lukewarm dishes provides a refreshing treat.

During opening hours, guests can visit the garden free of charge. Guided tours are almost always offered on the first Sunday of the month. Please note: the garden is both a growing area and a habitat, so please stay on the paths and do not pick anything yourself. A particularly sweet souvenir of Berlin is the honey from the garden’s own apiary. And here you’ll find even more tips for experiencing Berlin in a mindful way.
