Where the scene is at home

The German capital is colourful and tolerant. This is particularly evident in the Berlin neighbourhoods where the queer scene feels at home. Weinbergpark, near Hackescher Markt in Berlin Mitte, is considered the neighbourhood meeting place for everyone who identifies with Berlin's large LGBTQ+ community .

The bars Saint Jean and Betty F*** have made a name for themselves as popular venues in Mitte. Nollendorfplatz in the Schöneberg district has been a meeting place for the gay and lesbian scene since the 1920s. Every year, the lesbian and gay street festival takes place here, marking the start of Pride Week. Find more scene tips for queer places in Berlin here.
