Berghain & Panorama Bar
Electro
The "best club in the world", Berghain, and the Panorama bar, are legendary. Only a select audience can enjoy the finest electronic sounds here, because the door is the toughest in Berlin. You can expect long queues at the door, and the flair and rules of the club absolutely must be kept to.
Icon of Berlin's nightlife
Berghain is the most famous techno club in Berlin - and has long been a global symbol of electronic music. Since 2004, the club in the former thermal power station between Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg has shaped Berlin nightlife like no other place - and the queue at Wrienzer Bahnhof is almost always one of the longest in the city.
Techno temple Berghain
In the main hall, simply called Berghain, uncompromising techno takes centre stage. International DJs and Berlin residents ensure energetic nights here, supported by a sound system that is one of the best in the world. Driven by relentless beats, a unique world of dancing bodies develops amidst the raw architecture - where you quickly forget whether it is day or night outside. The minimalist lighting design adds to the intensity of the experience.
Ostgut Tun: beats that go around the world
If you love the Berghain sound, we recommend the Ostgut Ton label, which belongs to the club. founded in 2005, it is now one of the most renowned techno and house labels in the world. The label releases productions by resident DJs that bring the typical Berghain sound to the world - raw, powerful and timeless. With Ostgut Ton, Berghain has also cemented its international reputation as a style-defining force in the electronic music scene.
Panorama Bar: House at sunrise
One floor up, the Panorama Bar plays groovy house sounds. The atmosphere here is lighter and the sunrises here are legendary. Be there when the first rays fall through the large windows and night turns seamlessly into day.
Column: Intimate & experimental
Less well-known, but appreciated by connoisseurs, is the Säule, a smaller floor on the ground floor. The atmosphere here is more intimate, the music is more experimental, often raw and dark. The space offers an alternative to the large areas and is an integral part of the Berghain experience.
Kantine am Berghain: culture & concerts

In addition to the club operations, the team also runs the Kantine am Berghain, a separate event venue on the premises. Concerts, readings and smaller events take place here - a place where the boundaries between nightlife, art and culture are blurred once again.
Door policy & club culture
The strict door policy is part of the Berghain legend. It ensures a diverse, respectful mix of guests and an atmosphere that emphasises music, community and freedom. Photography is strictly forbidden in the club. What happens at Berghain stays at Berghain. And the experience, should you make it inside - remains truly unique.
More than just a club
Today, Berghain is also a cultural institution: in addition to the long club weekends, exhibitions, concerts and performances take place here. A place where nightlife and contemporary art merge.
