49h ICC: Morning yoga in the forgotten roof garden with Hagius

On Saturday and Sunday, the day starts with a morning yoga session in the former roof garden of the "spaceship" ICC: an hour to arrive, breathe deeply and stretch in the orphaned terrace architecture high above the A100 motorway.

A gentle, mindful experience in unusual surroundings

Breathing exercises help to regulate and harmonise the body and mind. Despite the concrete and anachronistic incinerator architecture all around, the sunken roof garden becomes a peaceful environment and you immerse yourself in a gentle, mindful experience.

Carefully guided movements and focussed breathing will help you to release tension, restore your balance and develop a sense of calm and presence in this session.

This session is accessible for all levels and requires neither intensity nor performance. It helps you to tune in, feel your body and experience a moment of mindful relaxation in an unusual urban setting.

The sessions are led by the renowned Hagius Studio, one of the most innovative places for movement and mindfulness in Berlin. With its multidisciplinary approach, Hagius combines scientific practices and holistic body experiences for a health-promoting workout.

Comfortable clothing is recommended, there are no changing rooms on site. Yoga mats are provided. Participation is possible from the age of 18. The classes are held in English and last approx. 60 minutes.

Meeting point is at 9.45 am in front of the main entrance of the ICC Berlin Neue Kantstraße. A rain alternative is provided, the sessions will also take place in bad weather.
